Broadway’s box offices took a downward dip in the first full week of June. Two shows played their final performances: the limited engagement of A Behanding in Spokane and the long-running hit God of Carnage. On the plus side, Fences kept up its blistering pace (setting a new house record at the Cort Theatre), and newcomers The Addams Family and Promises, Promises remained above the $1 million mark.
