One of the sultriest (and award-winningest…yes, that’s a word now) voices in the biz is back on Broadway, and it belongs to Tony Award nominee Harry Connick Jr. The pianist, singer, bandleader, actor and all-around crushable crooner kicked off a two week solo engagement titled Harry Connick Jr. In Concert on Broadway on July 15, filling the Neil Simon Theatre with classics like “The Way You Look Tonight” and the sound of numerous grown women swooning. A triple-threat with credits in film, television and theater, the Grammy and Emmy Award winner is right at home on Broadway—he’s previously wooed his way to that Tony Award nomination for a star turn in The Pajama Game, and also provided music and lyrics for the tuner Thou Shalt Not. Fans eager to get a glimpse of the star in action will have to act quickly, however…the concert series plays through July 29, then Connick Jr.’s back on the road. For those wishing they could have been there for the opening night debut, here’s a few photos of one of our favorite stars going “All The Way” on Broadway.
