Simon Thomas Snaps Up a Role in London's Legally Blonde

Simon Thomas will join the cast of the West End’s Legally Blonde as Warren Huntington III at the Savoy Theatre on October 25.

Thomas’ theater credits include Into the Woods, Cymbeline, Twelfth Night and HMS Pinafore at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Merry Wives of Windsor for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Cinderella for the Britsol Old Vic and Tarzan in the Disney production of Tarzan at the Theatre Neue Flora in Hamburg.

Thomas will be taking over the role from Richard Fleeshman, and is joining a cast that includes Sheridan Smith as Elle Woods, Alex Gaumond as Emmett, Caroline Keiff as Vivienne Kensington and Jill Halfpenny as Paulette. Based on the hit 2001 movie of the same name, Legally Blonde follows former sorority girl Elle Woods as she follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School in hopes of winning him back, but pursues a successful law career of her own.
