Broadway vet Sheridan Smith, television star David Suchet and former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm have all been shortlisted for 2010 Evening Standard Theatre Awards. The Royal Court and the National Theatre dominate this year’s shortlist with 11 and 10 nods respectively, and Cameron Mackintosh’s 25th anniversary production of Les Miserables has earned a spot on the Best Musical shortlist. The prestigious awards, which are chosen by a panel of theater critics from the UK's top publications, will be handed out at the Savoy Hotel on November 28.
