Tony nominee Hallie Foote, Tim Hopper, Adam Lefevre and Adina Verson will star in the world premiere of Him, by Daisy Foote. Directed by Evan Yionoulis, Him will begin performances on September 25 at off-Broadway's Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. The official opening night is set for October 9. The production will play a limited engagement through October 28.
Him is the story of two siblings struggling to keep the family store afloat. Together, they must decide which is a priority: their father’s final wishes or their financial stability. The choice could tear them apart.
Hallie Foote is currently appearing in Harrison, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote, also at Primary Stages. She is the sister of Daisy Foote and the daughter of late acclaimed playwright Horton Foote. Her Broadway credits include A Little Family Business and Dividing the Estate, for which she earned a Tony nomination. Her film credits include 1918, On Valentine’s Day and Walking to the Waterline.
Lefevre’s Broadway credits include Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Guys and Dolls, Mamma Mia!, Footloose, Summer and Smoke, Our Country’s Good and The Devil’s Disciple. His film and TV credits include Law & Order, The Lucky One, Hitch, You Can Count on Me and She’s Out of My League.
Hopper appeared on Broadway in Present Laughter. His additional New York theater credits include The Dying Gaul and More Stately Mansions. His film and TV credits include Vanilla Sky, The Last of the Mohicans, School of Rock and To Die For.
Verson’s theater credits include The Winter’s Tale, Cymbeline, Twelfth Night, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Savage in Limbo.
Him will feature scenic design by Marion Williams, costume design by Teresa Snider-Stein, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau and music and sound design by Broken Chord.
