Tony winner Mandy Patinkin is teaming up with performance artist Taylor Mac for a new two-man show, according to New York magazine. No exact details about the style of the show, or when and where it will be performed, have been announced.
Patinkin recently collaborated with his former Evita co-star Patti LuPone on the two-person show An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, which ran last fall at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Patinkin earned a Tony Award for Evita and additional nominations for The Wild Party and Sunday in the Park with George. He has also appeared on Broadway in Celebrating Sondheim, Falsettos, The Secret Garden, The Shadow Box and Hamlet. He currently stars on TV's Homeland, which begins its second season on September 30.
Taylor Mac is known for creating experimental theater experiences and has starred in The Lily's Revenge, The Be(A)st of Taylor Mac, Comparison is Violence, The Young Ladies of and Red Tide Blooming.
