Tony Committee Makes Eligibility Rulings on Cinderella and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met for the third time this season to decide the eligibility of two Broadway productions from the 2012-13 season: Cinderella and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The committee has made the following determinations

Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by a Leading Actress/Actor in a Musical categories for their respective performances in Cinderella.

The new book of Cinderella by Douglas Carter Beane will be considered eligible in the category of Best Book of a Musical.

Cinderella will be considered eligible in the category of Best Revival of a Musical.

All other eligibility determinations were consistent with the opening night credits. This means Cat on a Hot Tin Roof's Scarlett Johansson, Ciaran Hinds and Benjamin Walker will be eligible in the respective Leading Actress/Actor in a Play categories.
