Neil Patrick Harris Gets a Blazing Taste of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 Off-Broadway

Neil Patrick Harris, meet Natasha! The forthcoming headliner of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway (and the director behind off-Broadway's upcoming Nothing to Hide) was the latest celebrity to join in the Russian fun in the off-Broadway smash hit Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812. The actor was lucky enough to score a ticket to the new uptown run, which started performances on September 27 at a swanky new venue in the Theater District (the show had previously played acclaimed bouts at Ars Nova and the Meatpacking District). Harris had a scandalously fun night on October 4, hanging with the cast backstage after the show and landing one massive photo with the whole talented company (including titular stars Phillipa Soo and David Abeles). Judging by the photo above, NPH even looked the part! It’s only a matter of time before other actors follow the How I Met Your Mother star's lead and check out this astounding Russian musical.
