Anna Kendrick on Her Different Into the Woods Cinderella
Anna Kendrick has been opening up about playing Cinderella in the upcoming Disney adaptation of Into the Woods. “The interesting thing about her is she overthinks things, she's uncertain—we don't see that in most versions,” the star told Marie Claire. “In a lot of ways, I think it's this incredibly brave story. She's neglected and abused her entire life she finally gets love and it's not the kind of love she was looking for, and she stands up for herself." The movie hits theaters at Christmas. Douglas Sills & More Set for Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol
Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Joshua Henry (Violet), Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde), Erik Altemus (Pippin) and Tony winner Lillias White (The Life) will join the cast of the previously announced Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol. The one-night benefit concert in aid of the Actor’s Fund will take place on December 15 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre at John Jay College.
