The Royal Shakespeare Company production of Death of a Salesman, which is currently playing in Stratford-upon-Avon through May 2, will transfer to the West End. London performances will begin on May 9 at the Noël Coward Theatre, where it will run through July 18. Gregory Doran directs the acclaimed staging.
The entire Royal Shakespeare Theatre cast will reprise their performances in the West End. The production stars Antony Sher as Willy Loman, Alex Hassell as Biff Loman, Harriet Walter as Linda Loman and Sam Marks as Happy. Completing the cast are Tobias Beer, Paul Birchard, Helen Grady, Ross Green, Emma King, Miranda Nolan, Sarah Parks, Guy Paul, Joshua Riciahrds and Brodie Ross.
Arthur Miller’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play premiered on Broadway in 1949 and crossed the pond later that year. It has been revived five times on the Great White Way since.
