While Broadway on the whole (and temperatures) took a dip in New York this past week, a handful of shows with a proclivity for booster seats saw a sizable increase as kids began their winter breaks. The family-friendly Wicked saw more, well, green, up over $170,000 from last week and sitting comfortably in the first runner up slot. Disney favorites The Lion King and Aladdin rounded out the top three, Matilda celebrated a six-figure boost and School of Rock jumped back over the $1 million mark (at $1,023,108). While most other shows faced a decline ranging from modest to eye-raising, expect numbers to spike just after the holiday—Broadway's most wonderful time of the year.
