How are you different from the other boys playing Billy?
David: I only knew classical ballet when I was cast. I had to learn everything else from scratch, even speaking English.

What’s the hardest thing about being in Billy Elliot?
David: To reach the acting quality of the amazing adult cast members.
Kiril: Combining acting, dancing, singing and the dialect, and having the stamina to get through the show.
Trent: Keeping my stamina up.
What’s the best part about being in Billy Elliot?
David: The opportunity to work with [director] Stephen Daldry and the adult cast.
Kiril: Performing in front of an audience and getting know the cast.
Trent: Experiencing a Broadway career at age 13.
