Dracula, The Musical, starring Tom Hewitt and Melissa Errico, has changed its Broadway dates for a third time. The show will now begin performances at the Belasco Theatre on July 28 there will be no matinee that day to allow extra time for technical rehearsals.
Dracula features music by Frank Wildhorn and book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. The show, based on Bram Stoker's classic novel, tells of Dracula's lust for new blood and the small band of mortal men and women who must face his overwhelming seduction and mesmerizing supernatural powers.
In addition to Hewitt and Errico, the cast also features Stephen McKinley Henderson, Chris Hoch, Kelli O'Hara, Bart Shatto, Darren Ritchie, Don Stephenson and Shonn Wiley. Dracula is still scheduled to open on August 16.
