Penny Fuller will star alongside Kathleen Chalfant the Manhattan Theatre Club mounting of Four by Tenn. They will be joined by Cameron Folmar, Jeremy Lawrence and Myk Watford, who appeared with Chalfant in Michael Kahn's production of Five by Tenn at the Kennedy Center in the spring.
Fuller received Tony nominations for her work in Applause and The Dinner Party. She has also appeared on Broadway in The Moon Besieged, Barefoot in the Park, Cabaret, Rex and An American Daughter. Her off-Broadway credits include Henry IV, Three Viewings, A New Brain, Beautiful Child, the National Actors Theatre production of Right You Are and the Encores! staging of No Strings!. She won an Emmy Award in 1982 for her performance as Mrs. Kendal in a television broadcast of The Elephant Man. She has also been nominated for Emmys for her performances in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, China Beach, Miss Rose White, NYPD Blue and ER.
Four By Tenn, directed by Kahn, is scheduled to run at MTC's Stage II from October 19 through December 19.
