Complete casting has been confirmed for the Manhattan Theatre Club/Second Stage co-production of Reckless. Olga Merediz, Thomas Sadoski and Jeremy Shamos will join previously announced stars Mary-Louise Parker, Debra Monk, Michael O'Keefe and Rosie Perez in the play by Craig Lucas play.
Merediz, who will play Trish and a patient in Reckless, has appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables, The Human Comedy and Man of La Mancha. Her off-Broadway credits include The Human Comedy, El Grande de Coca-Cola and The Taming of the Shrew. Merediz was recently featured on the small screen in recurring roles on Hope and Faith and The Jury.
Sadoski's off-Broadway credits include Gemini and The General From America. He has appeared on the big screen in Loser, Happy Hour, Company K and Winter Solstice. He will play Tom, Tom Jr. and a man in a ski mask in Reckless.
Shamos' off-Broadway credits include Cymbeline, Corpus Christi, Hamlet, The Alchemist, Race, The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme and Engaged. He starred in the 1984 movie Kid Colter and has a role in the upcoming film The Great New Wonderful. Shamos is set for the roles of Tim and Roy in Reckless.
Reckless, directed by Mark Brokaw, is scheduled to begin previews at Broadway's Biltmore Theatre on September 22 in preparation for an October 14 opening.
