Twelve Angry Men Changes Opening Night

The Roundabout Theatre Company's has pushed back the opening for its production of Reginald Rose's Twelve Angry Men. The drama, originally scheduled to open on October 19, will now have its official Broadway bow on October 28.

Twelve Angry Men is a courtroom drama that follows 12 jurors as they deliberate on a seemingly clear-cut murder case. The well-known film version was released in 1957 with Lee Cobb as Juror #3, Henry Fonda as Juror #8 and Ed Begley as Juror #10.

The Roundabout mounting of the play, directed by Scott Ellis, will feature Tom Aldredge as Juror #9, Mark Blum as Juror # 1, Philip Bosco as Juror #3, Larry Bryggman as Juror #11, Robert Clohessy as Juror #6, Boyd Gaines as Juror #8, Kevin Geer as Juror #2, Dan Hedaya as Juror #10, Michael Mastro as Juror #5, John Pankow as Juror #7, James Rebhorn as Juror #4 and Adam Trese as Juror #12.

Performances are still scheduled to get underway at the American Airlines Theater on October 1.
