Nicole Kidman will not flaunt it in the upcoming film version of The Producers after all. The Oscar winner has withdrawn from playing Ulla because of scheduling conflicts, according to Variety.
Kidman is one of the most in demand actresses making features today. She is currently filming the big screen version of Bewitched. A representative for the actress reportedly claimed her withdrawal from The Producers was due to the fact that she would not have time to learn the song and dance numbers required for the movie musical between Bewitched and her next film, Eucalyptus.
The Producers film, directed by Susan Stroman, will continue to star original Broadway cast members Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Roger Bart and Gary Beach and rising Hollywood star Will Ferrell. The movie is still scheduled to start filming in February at Brooklyn's new Steiner Studios. A replacement for Kidman will be announced at a later date.
