I have a beautiful new show horse named Wild Man Bill and I have a good feeling that we're gonna make a great team in Cutting Horse competitions for 2005-2006. My other great horse Purple Badger who just tied for second in the American Quarter Horse Assoc. World Show is gonna beat everybody next year and he and I are also gonna qualify for the National Cutting Horse Assoc.World Show this year. I resolve to only go to Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant not more than twice a month, and only after I've lost the rest of this weight. I resolve to stay on the South Beach Diet and lose it all. I've lost 36 pounds over the last three months and counting! And I resolve to get rid of the clutter in my life--my brother Norman gave me a book for Christmas called Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui. Gotta do it! And I resolve a renewed creative discipline and enthusiasm to sing and create. I am so grateful for friends, my co-workers, musicians and all the people who appreciate our work. May we all collaborate to inspire in one another, and all of the lives that we touch, of the love and joy in all our hearts."
In 2004: Took part in the Actors' Fund of America's all-star L.A. reading of Sunset Boulevard, performed gigs with her comedy troupe Elbow Deep and rehearsed for the new play On the Mountain, which starts performances at South Coast Repertory on January 2.

This past election year proved to me that it's not enough anymore to just send a check and hope for the best. In 2004: Wowed the crowd at GMHC's fall Showstoppers! benefit, returned to the New York and Los Angeles club circuit with her acclaimed show Torch! and recorded and released In His Eyes, her long-awaited new album.

Resolution for 2005: "I'd like to finally start smoking this year. I know I make that resolution every January, but this time I'm really going to try and stick with the plan, and not poop out after a couple weeks like I did last year. I'd also like to gain about twenty pounds."
In 2004: Played the final performances of Broadway long-runners Cabaret and Aida, released the album Civilian and landed the role of Roger in the upcoming film of Rent.
Resolution for 2005: "I never make resolutions. I'm already perfect!!! Just kidding."
In 2004: Broke records playing Golda Meir in Golda's Balcony, the longest running one-woman show in the history of Broadway. Next stop: Los Angeles.
Resolution for 2005: "To take the Prime Minister out to Los Angeles without a face lift, botox or liposuction. To create 'wrinkle-chic' in Hollywood and not to be mistaken for Fat Albert: The Movie. To get Golda's Balcony televised. I love you Broadway and New York acting community, and will miss you!"
