Someone Who'll Watch Over Me to Land at London's New Ambassadors Theatre

A new production of Frank McGuinness' Someone Who'll Watch Over Me will land at the West End's New Ambassadors Theatre on April 13. Jonny Lee Miller best known for Trainspotting and recently of Festen fame, Aidan Gillen a 2004 Tony nominee for The Caretaker and David Threlfall will star.

Someone Who'll Watch Over Me is based on a true story chronicled in the book An Evil Cradling by Irish hostage survivor Brian Keenan. McGuinness wrote the screenplay for the film Hostages, which also told the same story. The drama centers on the daily terrors three hostages--an Englishman, an Irishman and an American--imprisoned in the Middle East are subjected to on a daily basis.

The New Ambassadors' current tenant, Ying Tong, is scheduled to end its West End run on March 19.
