Costabile has previously appeared in the park in Henry V and Troilus and Cressida. His Broadway credits include Titanic, The Tempest and Caroline, or Change. His off-Broadway credits include Encores! mountings of Can-Can and Carnival and Winter is the Coldest Season, which he performed with his clown trio The New Bozena.
Lawrence has appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and Urinetown where she first played Little Becky Two-Shoes and then later took on the bigger role of Little Sally. Her regional credits include Over and Over, The Rhythm Club, Cabaret, Into the Woods and Company. Lawrence was recently seen in the public workshop of Monica! The Musical, in which she played Hilary Clinton.
This musical version of The Two Gentlemen of Verona utilizes an adaptation by John Guare and Mel Shapiro and features lyrics by Guare and music by Galt MacDermot. It first played at the Delacorte Theatre in 1971. That production received much critical acclaim and transferred to Broadway where it won 1972 Tony Awards for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical.
Kathleen Marshall is set to direct and choreograph this production at the Delacorte.
