Pedro Pascal Joins Cast of Nilo Cruz's Beauty of the Father at MTC

Pedro Pascal will join Oscar Isaac in the cast of the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Nilo Cruz's Beauty of the Father. The play, directed by Michael Greif, is scheduled to begin previews at City Center Stage II on December 15.

Pascal received the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award and Garland Award for his portrayal of Phillip in the International City Theater production of Orphans. His other theatrical credits include Lorenzaccio, Gizmo Love, Lobby Hero, American Buffalo, Floating Weeds and Cruz's Anna and the Tropics at Portland Center Stage.

Beauty of the Father centers on a young woman who travels to Spain to visit her estranged father and quickly becomes immersed in his vibrant, artistic world. But will a charming Moroccan suitor stand in the way of their reconciliation?

Beauty of the Father is scheduled to officially open off-Broadway on January 10.
