Casting Announced for Pinter's Celebration and The Room

Betsy Aidem, Kate Blumberg, Patrick Breen, Brennan Brown, Phillip Goodwin, Earle Hyman, Mary Beth Peil, Peter Maloney, David Pittu, Carolyn McCormick, Thomas Jay Ryan and Christa Scott-Reed will be featured in the Atlantic Theater Company double-bill of Harold Pinter's Celebration and The Room.

Celebration, Pinter's most recent play, opens on a wedding anniversary in an ultra-trendy restaurant, and features three successful couples jockeying for the upper hand. This one-act will star Aidem, Blumberg, Breen, Brown, Goodwin, McCormick, Pittu, Ryan and Scott-Reed.

The Room, Pinter's first produced play, focuses on a nightmare world of insecurity and uncertainty in a shabby one-room London flat. The Room will feature Blumberg, Hyman, Maloney, Peil, Pittu and Ryan.

Celebration and The Room, directed by Neil Pepe, will begin previews on November 16 and officially open on December 5. The run is scheduled through January 6.
