We Will Rock You to Close on November 27 in Las Vegas

We Will Rock You will end its run at the Paris Las Vegas on November 27. When it closes, the show will have played 520 performances, according to a production spokesperson.

We Will Rock You is set in a futuristic world where musical instruments are banned in an attempt to squash free expression; however, rumors persist that there are musical instruments somewhere, with talk of a special guitar buried within layers of stone. When a group of rebels try to find the guitar, they must put their lives on the line for what they believe in. The show, which has a book by Ben Elton, features 20 of Queen's greatest hits, including "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Are The Champions," "Another One Bites The Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."

We Will Rock You, which continues to run in the West End, opened the Paris in September 2004. The tuner was recently cut down to 90 minutes in Las Vegas.

New productions of We Will Rock You are scheduled to open in early 2006 in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, South Africa and Zurich, Switzerland.
