David Cassidy's The Rat Pack Is Back! Shutters at the Supper Club

The Rat Pack Is Back!, the new musical by Don Reo and famed singer/actor David Cassidy, has ended its run at the Supper Club due to differences "on both artistic and managerial levels," according to a production statement.

The Rat Pack Is Back! starred Michael Civisca as Frank Sinatra, Julian Rebolledo as Dean, Mark Cohen as Joey, Eric Jordan Young as Sammy Davis Jr. and Cassidy as Bobby Darin. The show's story took place one imaginary martini-drenched night December 12, 1961, Sinatra's 46th birthday during which the foursome and friend Darin perform and celebrate on stage in Las Vegas.

The show began previews on November 17 and ran eight performances before shutting down following the November 26 show. It was scheduled to resume performances this week with an eye toward a December 19 opening. It is no longer expected to return to the Supper Club stage.
