Noble Shropshire has been tapped to fill in for Edward Hibbert in The Drowsy Chaperone while Hibbert is in Los Angeles appearing in the world premiere Kander and Ebb musical Curtains. Shropshire will appear as Underling in Chaperone from July 3 through September 10.
Shropshire previously appeared on the Great White Way in Not About Nightingales and Candida. His off-Broadway credits include The Crucible, Hamlet, Peer Gynt, Tartuffe, Leonce & Lena, King Lear, Faust, Ghost Sonata and The Cherry Orchard.
The Drowsy Chaperone will continue to star Sutton Foster, Bob Martin, Beth Leavel, Georgia Engel, Troy Britton Johnson and Danny Burstein.
