St. Martin most recently served as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Loews Hotels. In that role, she oversaw all of sales and marketing for the chain's 20 hotels and resorts. She joined the company in 1977 as Director of Sales and Marketing for the former Loews Anatole Hotel where she also served as President and CEO from 1989-1995. From 1990 to 1996, she simultaneously held the position of Executive Vice President of Operations for Loews, but turned her full attention back to marketing in 1996.
She served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Association Executives, the Professional Convention Management Association and as both an Officer and Director of Meeting Planners International. In addition, she spent four years 1995-1999 as Chair of the Education Foundation of the Professional Convention Management Association and served on their Board from 1988 through 2001.

The League of American Theatres and Producers, Inc. was founded in 1930 and is the national trade association for the Broadway industry. The League's 500-plus members include theater owners and operators, producers, presenters and general managers in over 140 North American cities, as well as suppliers of goods and services to the theater industry. Bernstein served 11 years as its president, but left at the end of last season.
