Broadway Grosses: Faith Healer Says Its Final Amen

Brian Friel's Faith Healer ended its limited run at the Booth Theatre on August 13 after playing more than 100 performances. The play received good reviews when it opened on May 4 with a stellar cast of three Ralph Fiennes, Cherry Jones and Ian McDiarmid, who took home the 2006 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor. In its final week on Broadway, Faith Healer filled the Booth to 94.65% capacity. Butley, starring Nathan Lane and Dana Ivey, will be the next occupant at the Booth, opening October 25.
