Atlantic's Stage 2 to Present Keith Reddin's Human Error

Atlantic Theater Company's Atlantic Stage 2 will round out its 2006-07 season with the world premiere production of Keith Reddin's Human Error, directed by Tracy Brigden and featuring Meg Gibson, Tim Guinee and Ray Anthony Thomas. The play will begin previews on August 1 and run through August 26, with opening night set for August 8 at the off-Broadway company's Stage 2 house.

Human Error concerns the aftermath of a plane crash, where two investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board become involved in the life of a survivor. As they search for the cause of the disaster, they find themselves drawn together in a romantic entanglement that leaves them both changed and shaken.

Reddin's play Frame 312 was produced at Atlantic, along with his one-act Mutterliebe. His plays include Brutality of Fact, Life and Limb, Rum and Coke, Highest Standard of Living, Big Time, Nebraska, All the Rage, Almost Blue, Life During Wartime, The Innocents' Crusade and The Missionary Position.

Atlantic ensemble member Thomas has appeared in the company's productions of Edmond, The Lights, Distant Fires, Beginning of August and Force Continuum. He received an Obie Award for his performance in Volunteer Man, also directed by Brigden. Gibson's off-Broadway credits include The Ride Down Mt. Morgan and From Above. She will soon be seen in Steven Soderbergh's feature film Guerrilla. Guinee's off-Broadway credits include the original production of subUrbia, Twelfth Night and Richard II. He starred in the independent film Sweet Land and can be seen in the upcoming feature film Broken English directed by Zoe Cassavetes.

The design team for Human Error will include Luke Cantarella scenic design, Markus Henry costumes, Jeff Croiter lighting and Eric Shim sound.
