Tomei received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in My Cousin Vinny. She received a second Oscar nomination for her performance in In the Bedroom. Her Broadway credits include playing the title role in Oscar Wilde's Salome opposite Al Pacino and Dianne Wiest in 2003 and appearing in Wait Until Dark in 1998. Other stage credits include We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay!, Waiting for Lefty and Design for Living.
"Will Eno is a terrific playwright," Simpson said of the writer, who garnered much attention for his off-Broadway play Thom Pain based on nothing. He added, "This grouping of five short plays for a pair of actors is truly remarkable."
The production features set design by Kyle Chepulis, lighting design by Brian Aldous, costume design by Claudia Brown, sound design by Jill BC DuBoff and video/projection design by Dustin O'Neill.
The piece will run for a limited engagement through December 22.
