Playwrights Horizons has added a final day of performances for its sold-out production of Sarah Ruhl's Dead Man's Cell Phone, starring Mary-Louise Parker. The additional shows will be on March 30 at 2:30 PM and 7:30 PM at the company's Mainstage Theater. The play is directed by Anne Bogart.
Sold out even before it began performances on February 9, Dead Man's Cell Phone had already added a two-show day on March 29. The March 30 performances represent the final possible extension, according to Playwrights Horizons.
In addition to Parker a Tony winner for Proof, Emmy winner for Angels in America and star ot TV's Weeds, the cast of Dead Man's Cell Phone includes Kathleen Chalfant, T. Ryder Smith, David Aaron Baker, Carla Harting and Kelly Maurer.
