Broadway Grosses: Numbers Still Up; Sunday and Curtains Depart

In the Heights continued its climb toward the top of the box office charts, increasing its take by almost $50,000 and breaking into the top five in both categories with a capacity of 100.08% for the week. Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy also experienced a healthy jump, gaining almost $100,000 at the box office. Broadway said good-bye to two shows on June 29, Curtains and Sunday in the Park with George, the latter of which went out strong, playing to 95.54% of capacity at Studio 54.
