Naked Angels to Present Geoffrey Nauffts' The Gospel According to Adam

Naked Angels will present the premiere production of The Gospel According to Adam, a new play by the company's artistic director, Geoffrey Nauffts. Performances begin December 7 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons, with opening night set for December 17.

In The Gospel According to Adam, sparks fly when an Atheist falls for a Christian and their two worlds collide. In this exploration of faith and reason in modern culture, one man struggles for salvation while the other hangs by a thread. The cast and creative team for the play, which won the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation's 2008 Theatre Visions Fund award, will be announced shortly.

As previously announced, Naked Angels will present the world premiere of The Talk, a new play by Frank Pugliese, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, September 9-October 16, with opening night on September 22. The cast of The Talk includes Bobby Cannavale, Bruce MacVittie and Titus Welliver.
