After playing Margo Channing in a benefit reading of
All About Eve on November 10 in New York, Annette Bening is heading home to L.A. to lend her name to another starry event: She will join Martin Short and Charles Durning in a one-night-only presentation of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's 1936 comedy
You Can't Take It With You. according to
Variety. A benefit for UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television, the performance will be held on December 2 at UCLA's Royce Hall, directed by Nora Ephron.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson a founding member of the school's executive board will host the gala event,
One Night Only ... With a Little Help From Our Friends. Tickets are $300 for both the performance and reception. Other cast and musical performers will be announced prior to the event.
