Peepshow, a combination of striptease and celebrity, bills itself as a “naughty night out.” Lohan, known for the hit flick Mean Girls, her days as a child star and her colorful offscreen life, caught the opening night performance. "I think she would be great in the show," Mitchell told People. "I would need to meet with her and dance a bit as I would with anyone who would love to be a part of Peepshow."
Dancing with the Stars alums Melanie Brown and Kelly Monaco are the current stars of Peepshow. Brown is originating the role of Peep Diva, while Monaco plays Bo Peep, a timid girl who the Diva guides in her transformation into a confident, sensual woman.
Lohan would take over for Monaco who has a three-month contract in a part that requires showing a lot of skin. “When the character strips she does it because she has learned to be strong by the other character/dancers in the show, and by watching them take charge with their considerable assets," Mitchell told People. "I am sure I could do the same for Miss Lohan."
In addition to choreography and direction from Tony winner Mitchell, Peepshow features music and arrangements by Andrew Lippa, sets by David Rockwell, costumes by Tony winner Gregg Barnes and lighting by Chris Lee.
