So Memorable
"I really did not remember much of the story as I never saw it on Broadway before and could not remember seeing the movie.
The cast was amazing and the story very poignant. I was very excited to see Eddie Redmayne and he did not disappoint. I may go again to see the show when Adam Lambert joins as he is one of the most talented entertainers around. While I knew that Gayle Rankin was not going to be in the performance I did not at all feel cheated as Gabi Campo was so amazing! "

Life is beautiful…
"First, I love Cabaret and was really excited to see this iteration. I was not disappointed! I loved the transformation of the August Wilson Theater and all the prologue entertainment. Go early and enjoy! The general staging of the show was well-done. There was a sinister, nightmarish quality to several scenes that was very effective. Eddie Redmayne was wonderful, as was Gayle Rankin. Just incredible. Bebe Neuwirth and Steven Skybell were outstanding as well. I felt the tempo of some of the songs was a little slower than what I’ve heard in the past (Don’t Tell Mama & Mein Herr) but this didn’t necessarily detract from the show. I loved it….definitely buy tickets and get over to the Kit Kat Club!!!"

"We enjoyed everything about the Kit Kat Club. It wasn’t a show, it was an experience. Although we had read the material, it was a little confusing when we arrived but once the pre-show performances began we realized we were already ‘hanging out’ in the seedy intriguing Kit Kat Club. Great Revival
"Loved everything about Cabaret, especially the novel theater in the round experience. The producers spared no expense renovating the old theater to create the Kit Kat Club complete with cocktail table service down front. Although we were in the front Mezz, seats were great and show fabulous. Eddie Redmayne is amazing. Gale Ranskin was off but here understudy was great! Rave reviews all around!"

"I would cut out 30 mins to 45 mins out of the show. It was long and slow. The first act was nearly 2 hours. The Gorilla scene has to go. Also the Caberet song needs to be shortened.
We also bought wine that was terrible and not worth the price paid."

Amazing! Just didn’t love some directorial decisions
"All the performers were absolutely wonderful! We did see Sally’s understudy, but thought she did an amazing job. Orville was very fun. Only things I didn’t like were some directorial/conceptual choices. I understand what the director was going for, I just personally didn’t like some of the decisions. Also didn’t love some of the costuming choices. But overall it was a great experience! And it was very cool to “be in” the Kit Kat Club!"

"The Theatre was beautifully transformed into the Kit Kat Klub and the audience is immediately immersed in the experience. We were disappointed to learn upon entry that Adam Lambert would not appear as indicated when we purchased our tickets, but the understudy, Marty Lauter was nothing short of spectacular in his role as the Emcee. I had never seen the movie or any other stage production of Cabaret so I had no preconceived ideas of how the show "should be". I found the symbolism to be thought provoking and continually interesting. The actors were wonderful, and the orchestra was spectacular. The musicians who appeared in the Kit Kat bars prior to the show set the mood perfectly. The pre-show experience was definitely a highlight of the show. Side note: The show does contain mature elements which may not be appropriate for young children or the overly uptight. "
