"Arrive early and enjoy the atmosphere. Performers are there to entertain you in lobby and near stage while you are being seated. Sexual promiscuity is on full display, so you may not be able to enjoy the show if that thing bothers you too much. Choreography is top notch, but vocals are not (perhaps a conscious choice by producers to enhance the atmosphere, but I would have liked it better if they sang better)"

Wonderfully done performance
"The cast was great, they meshed together well, their voices came together well. The whole thing exceeded my expectations. The stage design and “set” was very minimalist, so don’t go in expecting Moulin Rouge level theatrics. Definitely worth it, though. And I’d recommend getting in an at least 40 minutes early as they have performances (interactive and quite up close) throughout the theater space beforehand."

Great show; adult content
"We loved the show and the experience. We were stage side and enjoyed the atmosphere, music and dinner. However, we were incredibly disappointed that Ms. Newirth wasn’t there; she was one of the reasons we attended. "

Sometimes hard to follow
"Although, I thought the acting and singing was great, it was hard to follow the story line since it seemed to go into different directions and I couldn't understand the meaning behind the gorilla. But the acting was great and their singing voices were spectacular"

Cabaret- a history lesson we all need to learn
"I loved the story which was in reality tragic and sad. I also thought Adam Lambert was excellent as well as background actors and actresses. They were talented and very funny as well as engaging with the audience. "

Great but left confused
"GREAT ACTING. I was left in the end psychologically unsatisfied and could see some others in the theater feeling the same… after reading someones constructive criticisms about the show… they were explaining how raw and deeper the original show was… Now I understand why I didn’t totally “get it”. Maybe they softened the edges on some of the gritty stuff that we needed to truly understand the themes better.
But the cast was fantastic and they deserve all the accolades!"

Great show for adults only
"Loved the actors. Adam lambert was amazing. The sexuality of the show was a little out there for children. Would not recommend for children due to this. For adults - it was great"

Family christmas
"Performers were great and venue was very fun. I wish I had looked at the side we were sitting more closely. The back side of the stage, even at the tables are do not have the best view of the performers. We were looking at the backs of the main performers for more than half of the show. Still good but wish I had selected the other side. "

An interesting piece of theatre with strong talents.
"As a big theater fan, I truly enjoyed the theatrical aspects of the show. Adam Lambert was amazing the way that they transformed the theater was fantastic and I really did enjoy the show overall. I don’t know that I would recommend this is somebody who is in a big theater fan. It is long, it’s pretty dark and doesn’t flow in the traditional sense. I enjoyed it, but don’t need to rave for people to see it."

Adam Lambert shines in cabaret!
"The best thing about the Cabaret revival is Adam Lambert at der helm! Ensemble is terrific, staging/environment engaging and a delight to senses. The show captures the 1930s yet brings its ominous message forward to now. We loved the in the round approach and some very clever stage directions plus the great big numbers loved from the original. Some mis casting and dreadful lack of chemistry between Sally and her beau. Some incredibly timely themes. But Lambert is the Jewel in the crown. I could watch him read green eggs and ham and I'd be thrilled. The intimacy of the theater terrificly staged."

It was trying so hard
"The venue is amazing. You feel like you are in a night club. But promised tension never built and while the performances were stellar-with a few true standouts- I can’t recall any truly memorable moments. The story was also kinda dull which is surprising given the timeliness of the content and our political environment. "

Great acting, great singing, dated script.
"I did not know what the play was about but was very disappointed. Feel the script was dated and wish we had picked a different broadway show. Great talent and the stage setup in the Kit Kat Club was very cool too, but I’ll never wish to see Cabaret again and wish I hadn’t wasted a rare chance to see a broadway musical on this play."

Bold and entertaining
"The show is a bolder take on the original. Familiar songs and the incredible voices of the performers together with the fantastic venue make this into a real entertainment experience. At times I found performances a bit too exaggerated and too raunchy, which is not necessary as the performances, costumes and story are captivating enough. "

Cabaret with Adam Lamber and Auli'i Cravalho
"Adam Lambert was absolutely amazing. His voice, as expected, was phenomenal, and his acting was just as impressive. He wasn’t just performing; he was living the role! Compared to the rest of the cast, he truly stole the show. Every moment he was on stage, we were both completely captivated and found ourselves wishing he had been there for every single scene.
Auli'i Cravalho was also amazing, a true powerhouse. But in our opinion, the rest of the cast didn’t quite measure up, especially in terms of singing. Their performances felt somewhat amateurish by comparison.
The Cabaret dancers started off in unique and revealing costumes, some of them were truly amazing, though not all. As the play progressed, and Nazism began to take hold in Germany, the Cabaret’s performances gradually became more aligned with the oppressive culture of the time.
We would have loved to see even more of Adam's incredible talents showcased. He was simply unbelievable."

Overall a hit
"We came away from this performance feeling that we’d been entertained. Adam Lambert as the emcee did not disappoint. We felt that the lead playing Sally Bowles—while she had a fine voice and certainly worked hard in the role—unfortunately could not quite fill the massive shoes left by Liza Minelli, although perhaps this is an unfair comparison. I also wished the costumes had been a bit splashier and more evocative of pre-war Berlin. Still, this was worth the trip and we are glad we went."
