Waited Years to See This Show
"I've known the music, the movie and the general plot. But the show is the passion about 1931 Germany, the wild Kit Kat Club and how the people became cowed by the Nazis, The music and choreography were great. It's not stale, it's kept fresh. It's theatre in the round with the pit divided in the ceiling, so it's not a perfect mix (we needed more rhythm section). Well worth it."

Stunning 😍
"I loved everything! The show was stunning, the actors and the dancers were incredible! I fell in love especially with Billy Porter's performances, but really everyone was so good! The orchestra was amazing and the August Wilson theatre is beautifull, quite small, there is an intimate atmosphere, and I enjoyed the show so badly! You feel like you're part of the show. The staff was gentle, kind and helpful. (I would like to work there!! :)) In a word: MAGIC!"

Something Special
"I've seen a few different productions of this show, plus the movie, and this is probably the most special production I have ever seen. Between the pre show (and you should absolutely get there early for it), and the spectacle of it all, you can tell that quite a few of the audience forgot that Cabaret takes place in 1930s Berlin until it is impossible to avoid. This version absolutely perfected the "boiling frog" of it all, which is the point of the show. If you have a chance to see Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club before it closes in October, please do."

"The cast was phenomenal! Every part of the show worked extremely well. The room, the stage, the cast, costuming, music, all went hand in hand to make the show."

Sensational
"This version of Cabaret is so special and so important. Orville Peck as the Emcee is something beyond words; the absolute showmanship along with his ability to sing is truly something you just have to see in person. Eva Noblezada continues to be an award-winning showstopper for a reason! She was a star. I knew going in as a fan of Orville from his music and Eva from Hadestown, they would be brilliant but their chemistry was spectacular! I particularly want to give a shout out to Julian Ramos who was the understudy for Cliff at my performance and was absolutely phenomenal. Julian, truly amazing job and you are one to watch. Steven Skybell and Ellen Harvey deserve all their flowers for being the heart of this special show. Outstanding performances by both. The entire cast is absolutely spectacular. There were times where I was watching the girls and the boys more than than the leads. Wonderful work in bring EVERY character to life and being such a meaningful part of something so important and timely. Henry Gottfried, you are up there now in my rankings of people who are so good at playing villains, I hate their character despite the actor likely being a lovely person. You played Ernst so well in that you were charmed by his character but just as horrified as Cliff when the arm band is reveled. You can tell how much work and dedication has gone into this show and how deeply cared for it is by its cast. An absolute showstopper! "

An Amazing Experience
"Love loved loved this show! It was an immersive experience from the minute we entered. The whole production was phenomenal; the Master of Ceremonies was brilliant. It is a bit bawdy in a fun way with sexual jokes and actions as it's a Cabaret, so I wouldn't bring young children...I would bring teens though. It is a thoroughly enjoyable and a very good story as well."

The Perfect Production
"Cabaret has been one of my favorite shows for the past decade; I’ve watched countless different versions of this show and I can say without a doubt that Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club blew every single other performance out of the water. This show was PERFECTION, I don’t have words to express how spectacular I found this entire experience. I wish this show could run forever so I could keep coming back"

Mesmerizing
"I have seen the play multiple times over the years, but this was, hands down, the best performance! Orville Peck’s voice, facial expressions, body language, & stage presence were amazing! This was one of the darker versions of this dark play, but there was still plenty of humor. Loved it!"

Orville Peck is the MC we need.
"Theater production in the round makes this provocative reboot of Cabaret a must-see. The leads are tremendous. When Orville Peck lets loose that voice, it stuns. And the choreographed movement! The Kit Kats are erotic and engaging, to everyone. Some killer showstoppers, and the audience is 100% engaged. It's a revival that resonates right now. "

Tantalizing and stirring
"Such a spectacular performance. Staging and seating are truly an experience. Performers were excellent. The story still rings true today. It is both entertaining and also a good reminder of how quickly things can change in the world if we aren’t paying attention or doing our part. "

Fabulous and Emotional

About Cabaret

Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome to the Kit Kat Club. Home to the smash-hit production of Cabaret that Entertainment Weekly hails as “an unforgettable and jaw-dropping experience,” and New York Magazine declares “a glitzy, entertaining and ingenious revival that goes all out."

Through September 21, 2025, the incandescent Marisha Wallace stars as Sally Bowles on Broadway, and the role of Emcee will be shared by Marty Lauter and David Merino.

Experience this groundbreaking musical like never before. The denizens of the Kit Kat Club have created a decadent sanctuary inside Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, where artists and performers, misfits and outsiders rule the night. Step inside their world. This is Berlin. Relax. Loosen up. Be yourself.
