Light, then Dark and Disturbing in all the right ways.
"This show is meant to get you thinking. The idea of the Cabaret being a place to lose your cares is great, until you get a perspective about everything else going on in the world.
Set in Berlin, pre-WWII, this is a timely metaphor.
Adam Lambert is seductive and dark, unlike anything you've seen on TV. He's wildly talented in both singing and acting.
This play is wonderfully disturbing and done incredibly well, start to finish.
Get there when the doors open in order to enjoy the pre-show performances before the main play begins. And, I'd advise getting the package that includes food. It's charcuterie or falafel and eating out of the stacked cans enhances the experience for the period.
Stay open minded and have fun! "
