My first time watching a Broadway show and I would love to see it again!
"When I knew I was going to visit New York, I knew I needed to watch at least one musical while I was there. I didn't want to see a story I had already seen in a film, so that it would be entirely new to me and I could enjoy it to the fullest.
What I didn't know was that 'Chicago' would affect me so deeply. Each character is entirely different yet full of depth. Seeing the actress playing Velma perform was incredible; I couldn't fathom how such a young woman could be so mature on stage and deliver such an impeccable performance. I followed half of the cast on social media afterwards because I was genuinely impressed.
If, like me, you want to experience the full Broadway experience, Chicago is a good place to start."

"This was my wife and I’s first Broadway show. She has wanted to go to a show for many years and we were very excited to see Chicago. The staff were kind and accommodating and the theatre was clean and beautiful. The show itself was amazing and the actors and actresses did an excellent job. My wife was in theatre in High School and has been so eager to go to a show. I have never wanted to see a show before, but I can say that this show changed my views for life. Set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma’s serving time for killing her husband and sister after finding the two in bed together. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. Not one to rest on her laurels, Velma enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Velma’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback.
