A Firm Favourite
"I've seen this show many times with it being my favourite musical, but never on Broadway. I was blown away at how incredible this performance was. It surpassed my expectations and was a highlight of our trip to New York. The actors embodied their characters and if we had more time, I would have watched it again. My partner who had never seen it absolutely loved it too. He loved it as much as I did. It was one of the most tight, put together performances we've ever experienced! I always found my very first experience of the South African production in 2005 was the best, not even the West End production in 2009 came close. All future performances of this musical now have massive shoes to fill. This was EPIC!"

I want to see it again!!
"These actors & dancers were amazing! And the orchestra too! It wasn't vibrant w/set changes and color but that didn't hinder this performance at all. Everyone did such a spectacular job.
The theater is cozy. Seat size was good. My tall hubby did have some knee issues at the end but my daughter & I not at all!

Fantastic show!
"We sat in the front row and the show was phenomenal from that point of view. I was so impressed with the singing, dancing, and energy of the performers just a couple feet away. Sitting a couple rows back would improve the ability to see the entire layout of the stage, but I loved making eye contact with the cast and receiving a prop from Jessica Ernest (Roxie Hart). Sophie Carmen Jones and Jessica Ernest were hilarious, fun, and captivating! I’d never been to a broadway show but now I’m hooked. The entire cast sung amazingly, it was just a terrifically entertaining performance!"

Phenomenal
"The show was absolutely phenomenal! From the beginning of the show you were captivated through the very end of it! Roxie and Velma performances were so realistic. This musical spoke volumes about how life can go from one extreme to the next in a matter of minutes. It depicts how easily people take advantage of others through manipulation, it shows selfishness, and why doing wrong can lead to severe consequences. I would recommend it to others, and I would see it again."

Chicago
Set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Nightclub star Velma’s serving time for killing her husband and sister after finding the two in bed together. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. Not one to rest on her laurels, Velma enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Velma’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Roxie’s got some of her own tricks up her sleeve…
