Amazing show!
"I re-watched the 1992 film before going to the show and wondered how some of the key scenes would be reproduced for the on stage musical. I was not disappointed! They did an incredible job at recreating some of my favourite scenes! The costumes in the show made me want to take up costume/fashion design - they were beautiful and so well done! There were laughs from start to finish with this one. Highly recommend!"

Phenomenal
"Absolutely phenomenal. I laughed so hard I cried. I’ve adored Jennifer since she was the witch in Shrek and loved Christopher since he was in spamalot but I am positive whoever you see you’ll leave the theater enjoying just as much. The music is so fun, the harmonies are to die for and many songs will live in your head rent free.
Photosensitive audience members should dread accessibility articles before seeing the show to know when to avert eyes for strobe effects. But it’s absolutely watchable! As someone with epilepsy:)"

Death becomes her is amazing!!!!
"I took my friends who don’t necessarily love broadway the way I do and they all loved it. I had been eyeing the play for about a year and I was so excited to see some of the original cast like Jennifer Simard. All of my friends were locked in from beginning to end. I highly recommend seeing it for yourself. Tik Tok doesn’t do it justice. "

"Absolutely stunning performance. The book is stellar, and everything about this show is incredible and exactly what you want for a theater performance. It’s campy, fun, and showcases a bunch of talent. A special note for those who like to watch beyond the actors- the light design and set design are incredible. The entire production is filled with incredible talent and stunning visuals. "

Teens and Mothers Welcome!
"This show was very entertaining. We watched as a family of four. 12 (boy), 16 (girl), husband and wife in 40’s. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the girls. The songs were fun and expressive. The special effects were great. Broadway seems to have a thing with cars on stage these days, not complaining, they look pretty cool as part of the show. Highly recommend!"

Baseball or Broadway?
"As someone who is pretty green to theater, this show is the perfect gateway show to Broadway. It combines witty humor, impressive set and costumes, and a cast that knocked it out of the park. The music catches you right from the opening number. For all my guys out there that would rather catch a Yankees game, don’t sleep on Death Becomes Her for you and your significant other."

Better than expected
"Usually movies made into musicals often fall flat and either come across cheesy or don’t translate on stage. DBH, however was well-written, hilariously acted and had great music. There wasn’t any lulls or dead spots and the entire cast really held their own and performed impeccably. I actually want to see it again!"

About
Death Becomes Her
Madeline Ashton is the most beautiful actress (just ask her) ever to grace the stage and screen. Helen Sharp is the long-suffering author (just ask her) who lives in her shadow. They have always been the best of frenemies…until Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé away. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.
After one sip of Viola’s magical potion, Madeline and Helen begin a new era of life (and death) with their youth and beauty restored…and a grudge to last eternity.
Now a warning! You may not be ready for the unbelievable amount of comedy, glamour, and magic onstage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Death Becomes Her is a “wildly entertaining, perfect musical comedy. It grabs the audience by the jugular and doesn’t let go” (Deadline). With direction and choreography by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli, Death Becomes Her is “a laugh-filled, tuneful musical to die for” (Variety) and “a cheek-aching laughter roller coaster — the most fun night out on Broadway!” (The Daily Beast). Experience the “savagely funny” (Time Out) pop-culture phenomenon that’s been certified “hilarious” by The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Z100, Beyoncé (!!), Goldie Hawn, Superman aka David Corenswet, Michelle Williams (the other one), and countless fans on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. See it now, and laugh for eternity.
