Death Becomes Her Killed It!
"My son, husband and I all thoroughly enjoyed the performance. We knew the vocals were going to he strong (those pipes did not disappoint). We didn’t realize how truly funny it would be. I love that the jokes were updated and timely! Even though we were in the absolute last row of the theater…we didn’t miss a beat!"

A Great Musical!
"This musical show is a great comedy with very good singing and dancing. It was reminiscent of the old time Broadway musicals with tap dancing, costumes and witty dialogue. And the actors were fantastic. Everyone loved it, go see this show. And it was very easy to get in to the theater and to the orchestra seats. All the ushers were very friendly and helpful. "

Loved it so much I had to see it twice!
"I loved this musical so much that i had to see it twice. Originally I was afraid it would not live up to the film but it exceeded my expectations. I loved how they handled the special effects on stage, especially the iconic staircase scene. The music is catchy and the jokes are non-stop. It is a great show for the spooky season too. Highly recommend!"

“Death Becomes Her” – Worth the Trip from the D!
"From the moment the curtain rose, the show oozed Hollywood-meets-Broadway decadence. Megan Hilty as Madeline Ashton? A masterclass in glamour and comic timing — she belts like she’s got nine lives. And when Michelle Williams (yes, that Michelle Williams!) joined the mix, I nearly dropped my Playbill. Seeing stars of that caliber live — no screen, no filter, just raw talent — it’s the kind of Broadway magic that makes even a Detroit girl’s heart grow three sizes. The set design sparkled, the choreography snapped, and the special effects? Let’s just say — death never looked so fabulous. I left the theater half-tempted to find the elixir of eternal youth (and the other half still humming the finale)."

About Death Becomes Her

Madeline Ashton is the most beautiful actress (just ask her) ever to grace the stage and screen. Helen Sharp is the long-suffering author (just ask her) who lives in her shadow. They have always been the best of frenemies…until Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé away. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.

After one sip of Viola’s magical potion, Madeline and Helen begin a new era of life (and death) with their youth and beauty restored…and a grudge to last eternity.

Now a warning! You may not be ready for the unbelievable amount of comedy, glamour, and magic onstage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Death Becomes Her is a “wildly entertaining, perfect musical comedy. It grabs the audience by the jugular and doesn’t let go” (Deadline). With direction and choreography by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli, Death Becomes Her is “a laugh-filled, tuneful musical to die for” (Variety) and “a cheek-aching laughter roller coaster — the most fun night out on Broadway!” (The Daily Beast). Experience the “savagely funny” (Time Out) pop-culture phenomenon that’s been certified “hilarious” by The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Z100, Beyoncé (!!), Goldie Hawn, Superman aka David Corenswet, Michelle Williams (the other one), and countless fans on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. See it now, and laugh for eternity.
