The best 2.5 hours of my week
"I had obviously been listening to the viral sounds of Jennifer Simard for about a month and had known some of the songs but this musical surpassed my expectations. I laughed so hard my cheeks hurt and want to go back and see it again because I feel like I didn’t catch all the jokes, there were so many one liners! Highly recommend- one of the best musicals I have ever seen!"

What an fantastic show!
"The costumes, sets and acting were all over-the-top amazing. The onstage special effects, choreography and lighting were outstanding. The music, although vocally demanding, was performed flawlessly. The story follows the original movie very closely, which was a good thing, because I had trouble at times understanding some of the lyrics. I would definitely recommend the show because it's one of the best I've seen in a long time. "

Funny as hell!
"If you want to laugh so hard it hurts then go to this show. The jokes keep on coming. Don't bring kids - lots of sexual themes. The whole message about the absurdity of vanity and trying to fight off father time is lost on kids anyway."

Clever Powerhouse
"While our show did not feature Michelle Williams, the understudy was amazing. This is a clever, sly, and campy show about jealousy and greed. Megan Hilty is amazing as always. Jennifer Simard is hilarious and Christopher Sieber is the perfect dupe. It will make you laugh and the powerhouse vocals will blow your hair back in the best way! "

Great Date with My Adult Son
"The show was terrific. We laughed ALOT!!! The cast was perfect. The headliners did it all, with amazing voices and comic timing. Each member of the ensemble was a standout. The costumes were spectacular beginning the moment that Michele Williams walked out in her first gown. We were bowled over. All in all, we enjoyed every minute of our time together watching Death Becomes Her."

That, was, AMAZING
"I have loved the movie for years and seeing it get brought to life on stage was truly magical. Every aspect of the stage production was outstanding, from the full cast, tech, stage crew, costume, make-up and anyone else that I might have missed put endless detail into it. The vocals and dance routines where captivating that perfectly blended the scenes and kept the audience wanting more. I can not not mention the costumes, which where breathtakingly beautiful and only added to the whole story telling. Seeing key moments come alive on stage and the songs that perfectly told the story of each character has made for a must see theatre show that will become everyone's must see, over and over again show. I can not wait to get back out there to see it again."

About Death Becomes Her

Madeline Ashton is the most beautiful actress (just ask her) ever to grace the stage and screen. Helen Sharp is the long-suffering author (just ask her) who lives in her shadow. They have always been the best of frenemies…until Madeline steals Helen’s fiancé away. As Helen plots revenge and Madeline clings to her rapidly fading star, their world is suddenly turned upside down by Viola Van Horn, a mysterious woman with a secret that’s to die for.

After one sip of Viola’s magical potion, Madeline and Helen begin a new era of life (and death) with their youth and beauty restored…and a grudge to last eternity.

Now a warning! You may not be ready for the unbelievable amount of comedy, glamour, and magic onstage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Death Becomes Her is a “wildly entertaining, perfect musical comedy. It grabs the audience by the jugular and doesn’t let go” (Deadline). Starring Tony nominees Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, and Christopher Sieber, plus Grammy® winner Michelle Williams, with direction and choreography by Tony winner Christopher Gattelli, Death Becomes Her is “a laugh-filled, tuneful musical to die for” (Variety) and “a cheek-aching laughter roller coaster — the most fun night out on Broadway!” (The Daily Beast). Experience the “savagely funny” (Time Out) pop-culture phenomenon that’s been certified “hilarious” by The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Z100, Beyoncé (!!), Goldie Hawn, Superman aka David Corenswet, Michelle Williams (the other one), and countless fans on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. See it now, and laugh for eternity.
