"Took my wife and two daughters to see this show. While I got a little confused for the first 10 minutes, it seemed like very jumpy and it didn't make sense. After that, the show just took off. The effects were incredible. I still am incredulous as to how they pulled it off. Totally worth seeing!"

"This is my second time seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child with this cast. I went on Tom’s 2nd opening night, November 12th 2025. I loved it so much that I returned June 23rd 2026. The effects were incredible and the acting was so passionate. The cast makes you feel like they truly are their character. I was sad to see John Skelley was not there this time, but the other actor did amazing also! Aiden is truly incredible as Scorpius and it makes the show even more powerful! The staff is super friendly and the theatre is magical! I would love to go one more time before Tom’s run is done! "

"I am not a Harry Potter fan and went to the show with my son since he is a fan. I thought I might have to leave at intermission if I didn't enjoy it and let him stay. From the moment you enter the theatre there are magical surprises. Ordering the food from the seat was a first and wonderful. They deliver it in 2 minutes so no waiting in line. The show was so entertaining and funny. The special effects and choreography are the best ever. I did not want the show to end. "

"It was Amazing. It was wild and out of this world. It sure was worth every penny and time. I loved everything about the show. "This show was so much fun! The theater itself is a spectacular space and they have done so much to make it a truly magical experience. As a millennial I grew up on HP, however, I purposely did not read the play before seeing it and enjoyed every minute of it immensely! Tom Felton reprising his role of Draco Malfoy was, of course, a HUGE motivator for our selection in this show. But I was also pleasantly surprised by the performance of Aiden Close as Scorpius! He was so animated and funny! I can’t wait to see what else he does with his career. If you are in NYC and enjoy a great Broadway show, you will not be disappointed, especially if you are a HP fan. An Immersive and Unforgettable Harry Potter Experience
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment it started, the storyline pulled me in and kept me fully engaged. While I know some people critique parts of the plot, I went for the overall experience—and it absolutely delivered.
The acting was phenomenal across the board. The cast brought so much energy and depth to both familiar and new characters, and every performance felt authentic and powerful.
The true standout, though, is the stagecraft. The visuals and illusions are honestly mind-blowing—gravity-defying spells, swirling cloaks, intense duels, and seamless transitions all happen live on stage without any CGI. It genuinely feels like magic is happening right in front of you, and that alone makes the show worth it.
The venue itself adds so much to the experience. You can tell the Lyric Theatre was completely transformed for this production—the themed architecture, detailed interiors, and overall design completely immerse you in the Wizarding World. Even the layout feels more intimate, which makes the show that much more engaging.
It is a longer production, so the intermission was perfectly placed and much appreciated. It also gave us a chance to enjoy the fun, themed snacks, which were a great touch and added to the experience.
Overall, this is a must-see for any Harry Potter fan or theater lover. Between the incredible performances, next-level stage magic, and immersive atmosphere, it’s easily one of the most impressive Broadway experiences I’ve had."
