Like a magic show
"If you have read all the Harry Potter books and watched the movies, you get the chance to watch this book in the musical/Broadway version. It’s worth the trip out of town to view this, it was my first Broadway at Lyric Theater in NYC as a tourist and an avid reader! The drinks were on theme as well as the atmosphere. Be prepared to be stunned by the visual effects and the heartwarming storytelling of JK Rowling."

"I loved this play. It is recommended that you read or at least be familiar with all the Harry Potter books as there are many references to incidents in them. I also recommend reading the play by the same name. There will be some confusing scenes unless one is aware of things like polyjuice. "

Special Effects Didn't Disappoint
"My husband, two children (13 & 9), and I loved the show. It was energetic and full of cool special effects. There are a few dark moments that could be scary for younger children, so that may be a concern if you're planning to go with children, but adults and kids will enjoy this show immensely. It is not a musical, so those looking for the Broadway musical experience should not expect that here. It is a fun show and a great representation of the final chapter of the Harry Potter franchise.
