My first Broadway experience
"My expectations were blown away! As my first Broadway show, I was not prepared for the level of effects and professionalism in each performance. I went to accompany my daughter (15), but I would go again without her. I was in awe during the show and daughter was left speechless.
The only reason I was unsure about the show being for children was because there are some dark (lightening wise) and scary moments. If they have read the book or watched the movies, I would think they can handle the performance ."

The Malfoys Steal the Show!
"I came for Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, but stayed for Scorpius Malfoy. Everything that came out of that character's mouth made me either laugh or want to hug him! And Felton brought a whole other, more mature layer to the character he originated onscreen! Both their relationships with the Potters were the heart of the play. Seriously, didn't think the Malfoys would end up my favorite characters.
The effects also make the whole perfirmance feel like a magic show with illusions that left our heads scratching! Even with a whole other cast, you'll be blown away by the spectacle alone. If you bring kids, although they might be a little scared, they'll be left believing magic is real!"

What a Magical Experience!
"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was such a magical experience for our family. I didn't know what to expect and was blown away with how great the show and overall production were. Our 14 year teenager who has read some of the books and watched the movies greatly enjoyed the experience. There were a few spots in the show that might be scary for younger children.
The production cast did a great job. The applause for Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) when he came on stage lasted for at least 5 minutes. My favorite actor of the show was Aidan Close who played Scorpius Malfoy. He was very fun to watch and did an amazing job.
The production efforts of this show were top notch. How they transitioned between scenes was seamless and well done. I really enjoyed how they used the stairs on the set to simulate the multiple stairs in Hogwarts by spinning them and moving them. It was so creative and fun to watch. There are so many details and surprises from the show that you will just have to go see for yourselves.
We ordered some butter beer and ate some candy. It was really easy to order snacks using the QR code from your seat and they deliver it directly to your seat. We bought a pin specific to the New York show, but they had a lot of other souvenirs to buy.
I would highly recommend everyone who is a Harry Potter fan to go see this Broadway show. What a magical experience it was!"

"The show was hurried in the beginning to catch you up on several items in the plot - but overall was amazing! Great story, outstanding special effects, and of course - Tom Felton! The whole cast was great, but Tom reprised his role in a such a way that I truly believe only he can do. The actor playing his son was also really memorable. This was such a spectacular show for my family - but remember, you should be familiar with the Harry Potter series at least up to the fourth movie for this plot to be clear."
