"It was an amazing show, with sooo many special effects. My mothertongue is not english and i understood all of it. It was funny, the actors and actresses were brilliant and the staff was very friendly. Temporarily it was too loud, but it was okay. "

Great story and the magic seemed real.
"The magic was incredible and well timed. I liked the introduction to who was who. This helped set the stage for the key characters. The effects of time travel were amazing and very clever. "

Amazing show
"What I didn't like that the patronus was a men carrying it. And that the graves were suitcases. Things that I LOVED: - The lights effect when someone travelled in time. - Scorpius - Practical effects "

very well directed
"Harry Potter on Broadway was an absolute great time, from the quality of actors to the scene changes to events that left us gasping "how'd they do that". The sound, visuals and presence of the Theater house are great. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house really, we had seats up high near the back but did not feel left out of special effects. Loved the experience."

Fun and family friendly
"The effects were incredible as were the sets and lighting. The casting and acting were wonderful. It is a bit long in length for younger kids but the excitement factor kept them mostly engaged. Given the mix of audience members, there was quite a bit of talking that easily distracted from the dialogue scenes. The ushers did a fair amount of crowd control that was greatly appreciated. Overall, a great memory for my family and as an introduction to Broadway performances."

Harry Potter
"I thought the idea of looking at the next generation and how the past effected them, and their interpertation of what happenend with their desire to go back and rectify the past was genius. "

Spectacular!!
"This play was an excellent display of lighting, special effects and staging. The story line was good. The microphone for Albus could have been a little louder. Difficult to hear his dialogue some of the time. Loved the costuming. So glad we went. One of our highlights in NYC. "

Spectacularly Unneccessary
"I am an avid Potter fan who grew up alongside the series and cast. For me the story was complete as is. As for the production, what they are able to accomplish on stage is magnificent and it's always expertly cast. I have now seen the show four times! What I would critique is that the new story was an unnecessary addition to the lore. It is choppy storytelling and relies solely on nostalgia for those that are familiar with the original characters. I would still recommend seeing the live show at least once for the performances and production efforts. I do not envy the practical effects, which are sometimes difficult to pull off seamlessly but mind blowing when all goes right. Overall, it's a wonderfully immersive show, but in my opinion should not be included in the legacy of the Harry Potter universe of storytelling. "

An incredible show, even for non-Potter fanatics!
"I am in a small population of people who has never read a Harry Potter book and never seen a Harry Potter movie. My friend and I went with our adult children because they all love Harry Potter and we went in with very, very basic knowledge. We still very much enjoyed the show. We were able to follow the storyline pretty well, although there were a few times that we weren't sure what was happening. The special effects are incredible! For us who were only partially invested in the storyline, the effects kept our interest the entire time."

Always
"I read this play when it was published and really enjoyed seeing it come to life on stage. I really enjoyed the way they translated the magic to the stage as well. I'm also a huge fan of Tom Felton and there was so much joy to see him reprise his role as Draco Malfoy. "
