Thrilling, we two Potterheads loved it!
"I saw this show on Broadway in 2019, when it was in two parts. I enjoyed it that time, but I didn’t love it. It dragged in some spots, didn’t seem very action-packed or very magical. I figured there wasn’t as much in the way of special effects that could be done in person as there was in a movie.
Fast forward to 2025. I was seeing the newest edition, again on Broadway, with my sister. I was a little concerned that it might not be as good, since it was half as long. Well, I’m here to tell you the production was fantastic!! It was exciting, full of special ‘magical’ effects. The story was so much tighter than when I saw it before, and we were truly on the edge of our seats! In fact, my sister wants to try to see it again when Tom Felton will be playing Draco. (The actors were all amazing, including the actor who played Draco, but she loved it so much, she thought that would be a good excuse to go again!)
The only thing that wasn’t great for me was that I had a hard time hearing some of the dialogue. We were sitting in the first row of the top balcony. We could see everything perfectly, but both of us had a bit of a hard time catching all the dialogue.
I’m so glad to have seen this edition of the show. All my worries have been put to rest, and I feel very comfortable in recommending it to all Potterheads. It’s fun, it’s magical, it’s a nail-biter, it’s both nostalgic and new at the same time. I can’t wait to see it again!"

Spectacular Show Filled with "How Did They Do That" Moments
"Spectacular show filled with magic, relatable challenges and excitement. I was pleasantly surprised by how much magic they were able to pull off in a broadway show; they included both small magic tricks as well as some jaw dropping, "how did they do that" moments. It was interesting to see many of my favorite characters as adults while also seeing the next generation. Would definitely recommend this show as it has something for the young and young at heart."

Must-do for true Potterheads
"We’ve been waiting for years to see this show. Now that it’s more affordable, I bought tickets last minute when my 18 year old son and I were in NYC. The attention to detail in the theatre and the expectations of theatre-goers are great. They tell you a few times to put your phone away, and if you take it out during the show, the ushers on on you like white on rice and shining a flashlight directly at you, telling you to put your phone away or leave the theatre. I loved it! The special effects are great. There were dementors, levitation, and charms right on stage, including transfiguration and character changes from the use of pollyjuice potion. It was really well done. Glad we were able to check this off our bucket list! "
