Most Visually Appealing Show Ever
"Took my two daughters and had a fantastic time. Hands down the most visually appealing and interactive show we have ever seen. The storyline was timely and relevant and underscored the importance of personal empowerment. Heads up to caregivers, there are a few explicit words used but nothing other the top. An absolute must-see. "

Lively Show - Great Plot/Book
"& Juliet may not be a classic, original score kind of Broadway show and it is still super charming and engaging. The Audience participation and confetti might feel campy but it’s well done enough that they pull it off. Shakespeare and Anne gave particularly stellar performances. Good for families - I would definitely see it over Back to the Future - hand down. "

A fun throw back...
"If you love late 90s and early 2000s pop, Shakespeare, and a fresh portrayal of a classic story this is for you. When Anne and William disagree on the ending of Romeo and Juliet, Anne takes the wheel and begins crafting her own sequel. William intervenes again and again in a failing attempt to craft his story that mirrors the original but continues to make changes that Anne cannot and will not accept. The show had the crowd cheering and dancing along, especially those of us reaching the mid-30s and older range, but it brought together a diverse group who was hanging on every line. Pros: Music, Lighting, Story, and a Great Cast Who Kept the Story Moving (especially William, Anne, and the Nurse) Cons: Sound Board Control Overpiping the Speaker System, Romeo - the actor was just ok in all things and had many people around me going meh, May - an uneven performance with moments of absolute brilliance and moments of overacting or singing beyond his range. Would I take my kids? I'm not sure. I would consider it, but I would also be discussing the themes and information with them before hand, and framing it in the view of whatever your family beliefs are. If you are against cursing, this probably isn't the show for you. It’s not over-the-top but it is a "cause for concern." If you are against same-sex relationships or depictions of crossing dressing gay men (probably non-surgical trans people), this is DEFINITELY NOT the show for you. Additionally, the show depicts and projects a strong women’s power theme. Nothing wrong with it, just an observation to prepare you for what you’re walking into. Bottom Line: Would I see it again? Without a doubt."

Great but
" I absolutely loved the show as did my wife and 17 and 20 year old daughters. Singing and the dancing at the end was so uplifting. Only reason I put great but is because some closed minded people might not like some of the story line. BUT that would be their loss "

Will Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway(not the actress), what could go wrong?
"This play is so Intune with today's questions set in Merry Old England, what's not to love. Full of surprises and breaking the 4th Wall and giving a whole new meaning of age old story, what if?????? "

MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT
"Did not imagine a plot like this, fun, entertaining and engaging from the start. Very clever use of the stage and even the story of Romeo & Juliet. This is not a Shakespeare play by any respect but is certainly identifiable if that’s what you like. The talent for singing, dancing and acting is off the charts, and the song selection is wonderful as well. Go see this show as soon as possible, you won’t regret or forget it!"

Fun!
"I had low expectations for &Juliet when I attended a matinee with a group of Girl Scouts, and was I ever mistaken! &Juliet was great fun! The conceit of the show, the actors, their voices and moves, sets, lighting design, costumes and use of familiar tunes were terrific. It was entertaining, funny and a rip roaring great time. We all enjoyed ourselves. The theater staff were so nice as well. Thanks for a great show!"

About & Juliet

& Juliet flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo, and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, all written by Max Martin and his collaborators, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more.
