It’s a tour?
"Was this a tour that stopped in a NYC theater? Seemed like it. The audience loved it and that did enhance my experience. The story is solid, light, slightly funny. "If I had not seen the same production in Las Vegas a few years ago, then this one would have been far more enjoyable. However, it was difficult not to draw comparisons. "I enjoyed the set list. However, there were too many misses for this show in my opinion. The whole production seemed more of the touring production vs. a Broadway production.
1. The Set: Lackluster to say the least.
2. Singing: The singing just was not that good.
3. Sound system: This theatre needs an upgrade.
4. Orchestra: Again, lackluster
All in all, I would have a hard time recommending this show to anyone traveling to NYC. Wait until it tours again and find something closer. It will be less expensive and it will be the same show "
